La Universidad
The magazine "La Universidad", published by the Universidad de El Salvador, is a Scientific-Sociocultural and Multidisciplinary Organ, which was founded in 1875 under the direction of Dr. Esteban Castro. The emergence of this magazine, part of the need of the Alma Mater to disseminate the scientific work of the university community, intellectuals and artists of the region, establishing itself as the first editorial product of the country.

The Revista Salud Integral (Comprehensive Health Journal) of the University of El Salvador (UES) was first published on August 19, 2023 (Vol. 1, No. 1). Since then, it has been available to the scientific community, academia, and doctoral students in medicine and health sciences at the Faculty of Medicine. It is also available to professionals from other disciplines at national and foreign institutions, promoting a policy of open and free access to readers.
