About the Journal

The Journal of Economic Sciences is the official publication of the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the University of El Salvador (UES). The journal is open to faculty members and students of the Faculty of Economic Sciences, as well as contributors from other national or international institutions who wish to publish original and unpublished scientific articles. It is a free, open-access journal available to all readers.

The Journal of Economic Sciences was created in response to the current stage of scientific development at the UES. It publishes scientific articles in the fields of Economic Sciences, including the areas of Economics, Business Administration, Public Accounting, International Marketing, and related postgraduate disciplines offered by the Faculty.

The journal is published on a semiannual basis, and all submitted articles undergo a double-blind peer review process.

Accepted works
The journal accepts manuscripts related to economic sciences, business administration, accounting, marketing, finance, quality management, and other related areas.

Objective
Its objective is to disseminate original and unpublished research of scientific quality, produced by members of the academic community of the Faculty of Economic Sciences, as well as by professionals at the national and international levels.

Audience
The journal is intended for an academic audience, including both faculty members and students at the national and international levels.

Periodicity
The journal is published semiannually. Additionally, special issues may be published if requested by members of the Faculty of Economic Sciences.
