ANNOUNCEMENT
The Institute of Economic Research (INVE) of the Faculty of Economic Sciences, University of El Salvador, invites all researchers, professors, and students interested in contributing to the journal “Ciencias Económicas”, Vol. 2 No. 1 (June 2024), to submit their manuscripts. Submissions should address topics within the Research Line:
Technological Change and Economic Development
All manuscripts must relate to this research line and meet the following requirements:

Originality: Submitted texts must not have been published in other journals or media.

Research design: Include a brief description of the research to be conducted.

Citations and references: Must follow APA 7th Edition guidelines.

The manuscript should provide relevant information, comply with academic writing standards, and maintain a similarity (plagiarism) rate below 15%.
Deadline for manuscript submission: May 15, 2024

Researchers should determine whether their work fits one of the following research types:
a) Full Research Papers
These should not exceed 6,000 words (including figures and tables) and must include a minimum of 20 references. Eligible categories include scientific and technological research articles, literature reviews, and research progress reports.
Submissions must follow these guidelines:

Indicate the authors’ names, affiliations, email addresses, and ORCID iDs.

Include a title (maximum 20 words), abstract, and keywords (both in English and Spanish).

The manuscript must be written in Spanish, on letter-size pages, with 1.5 line spacing.
-
Text should be in Times New Roman, size 11, justified alignment.
b) Short Research Papers
These should not exceed 3,000 words (including figures and tables) and must include a minimum of 15 references. Eligible categories include reflection articles, case reports, management guides and protocols, opinion articles, essays, book reviews, literature reviews, and presentations from conferences, congresses, or symposia.
Submissions must follow these guidelines:
