Abstract

The Digital Economy is the branch of economics that studies technological development and its application in the satisfaction of needs, especially those related to information management such as Information and Communication Technology (ICT). This paper explores the concepts surrounding the digital economy, as well as the evolution of access to these technologies in El Salvador and their implications for economic development.
