LA DEMOCRACIA DESAFIADA Y LA RECONSTRUCCIÓN DEL ESTADO Y LA SOCIEDAD SALVADOREÑA

It is reviewed each of its most relevant categories that builds the concept of democracy and its historical concretion on political regime, as well as challenges brought by the construction and analysis of concrete regimes. To dive into the salvadoran process, triggered after what the author identifies as the end of the post civil war regime. Outcome that was established by the breaking off after the 2019 presidential elections, which turned into the elections of president Bukele by a vast majority of votes. Rupture was confirmed 5 years later, also by popular demand, at the legislative elections set for 2021, which allowed President Bukele to win a wider parliamentary majority. This process ratified at both presidential and legislatives of 2024, in which traditional parties who ruled for 30 years and the past regime, were not able to overlast its hegemony and on the contrary, were reduced to its minimal expression
