Warranties and Assignment of Intellectual Property Rights

By submitting an article to the CTI-FIA Journal, the authors warrant that the work is original and has not been previously published nor is under consideration for publication in another journal. The authors assume full responsibility for the content of their contributions and guarantee that it does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of third parties.

The authors grant CTI-FIA Journal the non-exclusive right to publish, reproduce, distribute, and publicly communicate the article, both in print and electronic formats, and in any medium or format currently known or developed in the future. This rights assignment includes authorization for the journal to archive and store the article in digital repositories and databases.

CTI-FIA Journal is committed to respecting the authors' copyright and to properly acknowledging their contribution in all publications. Additionally, the journal strives to ensure the integrity and originality of the works it publishes and reserves the right to take appropriate action in the event of copyright infringement.

Copyright Notice

All content published in CTI-FIA Journal is protected by copyright and is the property of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture of the University of El Salvador, unless otherwise indicated. Reproduction, distribution, or unauthorized use of any material is prohibited without the express written consent of the journal and the respective authors.

Authors retain the copyright to their individual contributions published in CTI-FIA Journal and grant the journal a non-exclusive right to publish them. Any unauthorized use of the journal's content constitutes a copyright violation and may be subject to legal action.

Author Ethics

Authors must ensure that their work is original, has not been previously published, and is not under review elsewhere. Additionally, reviewers must complete their evaluations within the agreed timeframe, thereby contributing to the efficiency and transparency of the editorial process.

The editorial team of CTI-FIA Journal is committed to publishing original and rigorous research in the fields of engineering and architecture, with a particular focus on sustainability. We ensure a transparent and objective peer review process carried out by experts in the field. Moreover, we promote ethical practices in research and publishing and continuously work to improve our editorial procedures to ensure the relevance, integrity, and quality of the published articles, thereby contributing to the advancement of scientific and technical knowledge.

Anti-Plagiarism Policy

Manuscripts submitted for publication in CTI-FIA Journal will be screened using a text similarity detection tool. Manuscripts with a similarity rate above 15% will not be accepted.

Evaluation Policy

CTI-FIA Journal ensures the quality and objectivity of its publications through a double-blind peer review process, in which both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to eliminate bias. All manuscripts are reviewed by experts in the relevant subject area, selected with no conflicts of interest. Reviewers provide detailed and constructive feedback, which is communicated to the authors without revealing their identities. The confidentiality of the manuscripts and the review reports is maintained at all times. The final decision regarding the acceptance, revision, or rejection of the manuscript is based on the quality and relevance of the content, ensuring a fair and rigorous editorial process.
