About the Journal

CTI-FIA Journal is managed by the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture at the University of El Salvador. It serves as a platform for the dissemination of scientific and technical knowledge in the fields of engineering and architecture. The journal functions as a vehicle for the promotion and distribution of original and innovative research, with a strong focus on sustainability, reflecting its commitment to advancing toward a more equitable, resilient, and sustainable future. Moreover, the journal plays an important role in generating impact and promoting knowledge exchange in engineering and architecture at both local and global levels.

Objective

To disseminate original research and knowledge in Spanish in the fields of engineering and architecture, with a central focus on sustainability, promoting the development of technical and technological solutions that support a more equitable, resilient, and sustainable future for society.

Audience

CTI-FIA Journal is intended for a broad and diverse audience, including the scientific community, academia, policymakers, and university students from the University of El Salvador and other national and international institutions, as well as professionals in related disciplines in the field of engineering and architecture, both nationally and internationally.

Publication Frequency

The journal publishes two issues per year, corresponding to the periods January–June and July–December. Articles are published on a rolling basis (Online First Publication), enabling rapid and timely dissemination of information.

Indexing

The journal is committed to achieving indexing beyond the regional scope. This effort is part of the Scientific Journal Strengthening Project of the University of El Salvador.
