Abstract

In 2023, William Alfaro published Magia, a collection of poems in honor of Salvadoran soccer. The following review is a critic examination of its main particularities in order to determine its contributions to Salvadoran literature. Through a descriptive analysis of its rhetorical devices, we can conclude that the poems show a clever use of history and language, resulting in an original and innovative work for contemporary literature.
