Definition of the Journal

Revista Jiboa of the Paracentral Multidisciplinary Faculty at the University of El Salvador is an annual publication whose purpose is to create a space for academic discussion on topics of interest in the field of scientific articles.

Objective

To disseminate the results of different research on relevant topics of the paracentral, national and international region, carried out by professors, students and staff of the Paracentral Multidisciplinary Faculty with a transdisciplinary approach, encouraging research and academic debate, promoting collaboration between researchers and academics at a global level.

Focus and Scope

Revista Jiboa is the journal of the Paracentral Multidisciplinary Faculty of the University of El Salvador (UES). The journal is available to teachers and students of the Faculty and other national or foreign institutions who wish to publish original and unpublished scientific articles, it is free and open access to readers. The journal is published on an annual basis, the articles are peer-reviewed in double-blind.

Each of them will be an annual publication, the articles will be peer-reviewed in double-blind. A researcher selected by the Editorial Board will be invited to write the editorial page.

Revista Jiboa publishes academic articles focused on various areas, including:

1. Educational Research and Technology.
2. Social and political economy.
3. Bioeconomy, ecology and climate change.
4. Water resources and risk management.
5. Results of projects and research related to the Paracentral Region of El Salvador.
