ETL: Technologies for extracting, transforming, and loading data as a solution for integrating and managing data from multiple sources

Objective: To demonstrate the impact of ETL technologies within the business environment.
Methodology: This study includes a review of official documentation regarding Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL) technologies. Additionally, documentary research will be conducted on the Pentaho tool, which will be used to execute processes—such as data insertion, extraction, updating, and transformation, as well as the execution of programming scripts within the ETL workflow—in a test environment. The goal is to gain a deeper understanding of the functionality of both this tool and ETL technologies in general.
