¿Unidad de las izquierdas? Cuándo, por qué, cómo y para qué

Abstract

In recent times we witnessed a deep crisis of the capitalist system and a depletion of the neoliberal model, generated social crisis, and the deepening of poverty led to new political options, some considered leftist, others progressive or opposed to neoliberalism. After the death of President Hugo Chavez, we began to see a reflux in all the progress achieved, and the right, including sectors of the left began to build a discourse of the end of the progressist cycle. But beyond the advances, it is important to highlight the lack of consolidation of an alternative model based on the articulation of the different sectors or from left social movements. Boavetura de Sousa Santos, poses the need to correct errors both past and present, under a global, historical learning and the need to form governments capable of including all sectors of the left in a broad effort to consolidate a revolutionary project.
