Desarrollo institucional como instrumento para el crecimiento económico y el desarrollo social y ambiental

Resumen

Este artículo busca ofrecer una reflexión sobre el desarrollo institucional como un instrumento para el crecimiento económico y desarrollo social y ambiental de las comunidades y pueblos. El método empleado es el del análisis crítico para determinar los alcances de los conceptos, teorías y resultados de las investigaciones empíricas para determinar el impacto en el desarrollo institucional local y fundamentar la delimitación de los procesos de institucionalización y el cambio institucional. Se concluye que el desarrollo institucional debe estar integrado con las otras formas de desarrollo evidenciando una intervención estratégica coherente de cooperación que clama por cambios de cultura corporativa de las organizaciones que requieren procesos de implementación sustentadas en apoyo político y en la participación de los grupos de interés involucrados.
