About the Journal

Revista Agrociencia is the official scientific journal of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, It is managed with the support of the Secretariat for Scientific Research of the University of El Salvador (SIC-UES).

Purpose

Disseminate unpublished and original research, of scientific quality, prepared by members of the national and international academic and professional communities. It covers several fields related to agricultural, forestry, veterinary, agro-industry, environmental, geological, and food safety sciences.

Publication Frequency

The journal is directed semi-annually strating from 2022, with two annual issues per year corresponding to the periods of January-June and July-December.

Audience

The Journal is directed at an academic audience that includes teachers and students from both national and international institutions , with an interest in areas related to agricultural, forestry and veterinary sciences, among other similar ones.

Open Access

The Revista Agrociencia, doesn´t charge authors any submission or editorial processing fees for the articles that are published.

Thematic Coverage

The journal accepts manuscripts from agricultural, forestry, veterinary, agribusiness, environmental, geology and food safety sciences on a rolling basis.

Authors are solely responsible for the opinions expressed in their texts, which do not necessarily reflect the views or policies of the University.

All submitted works must be unpublished (except in cases specifically authorized by the editor-in-chief).

Accepted Formats

The journal publishes a variety of academic texts, including scientific articles, technical notes, case studies and bibliographic reviews.

In general, All published works are subject to intellectual property policies in accordance with the CC BY 4.0 International License. This license allows others to mix, adapt, and build on your work for any purpose, including commercially, and while their new work must also acknowledge you, they don't have to license your derivative works on the same terms.
