Code of ethics
<<Revista Agrociencia>> is guided by the academic goals of the University of El Salvador, as established in Article 3 of its Organic Law:
- To Preserve, promote, and disseminate science, art, and culture.
- To Train professionals who are morally and intellectually qualified to fulfill their role in society, integrating teaching, research, and social outreach for this purpose.
- To Conduct universal philosophical, scientific, artistic, and technological research, primarily focused on Salvadoran and Central American realities.
- To Strive, with a social-humanistic approach, for the comprehensive education of students.
- To Contribute to strengthening national identity and the development of a distinct culture, in service of peace and freedom.
- To Promote sustainability and the protection of natural resources and the environment.
- To encourage the ideal of unity among Central American nations among its students.
In addition, aligns with the institutional values of the University of El Salvador.
Revista Agrociencia adheres to international ethical standards and codes established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (Code of Conduct and Best Practices Guidelines for Journal Editors), COPE, and the Council of Science Editors.
