Interoperability Protocol

All publications on the Revista Agrociencia portal incorporate interoperability protocols that allow their contents to be harvested by other distribution systems, such as digital repositories and harvesters. Journals published through OJS (Open Journals System 3.1.2.1) incorporate the OAI-PMH interoperability protocol (Open Archive Initiative-Protocol for Metadata Harvesting) with the capability to obtain different metadata formats.

Digital Preservation

This journal employs preservation processes through the University of El Salvador's servers as a backup to the OJS platform.  Additionally, OJS includes the PKP PLN (Public Knowledge Project Preservation Network) tool, which ensures the preservation of the journal's content, regardless of where it is hosted.
