Abstract

The diversity of life in the oceans and seas is an essential aspect within the pillars of sustainable development (economic, social and environmental), in addition, marine diversity maintains our planet healthy and provides services that supports health, wellbeing and the prosperity of humanity. Allowing resources to be maintained over the time is a fundamental aspect of sustainability.
