The constitutionalization of administrative law in El Salvador

The objective of the article is to analyze the issue of the Constitutionalization of Administrative Law, in light of the doctrine of the law expositors and the jurisprudence of the Constitutional Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice. To this end, it is essential to highlight the link between Constitutional Law and Administrative Law, since the latter has a strong impact at the jurisprudential and doctrinal level from the constitutional point of view. In this sense, historical aspects that have been decisive for the development of the constitutionalization of the Administrative Law, which have been developed since the 80’s onwards, aspects that make the creation of the Constitutional Chamber with the entry into force of the Constitution of 1983, which generated a development in the guarantee and protection of the rights and legal assets in constitutional matters, are carefully glimpsed. Finally, the article develops some figures in administrative matters and how these are strongly impacted by the application of the constitutional regulations and the constitutional control carried out by the Chamber within the framework of its faculties and powers.
