Abstract

Mangrove forests are highly productive ecosystems that provide refuge for many species of organisms representing the different kingdoms of life; Among these, we can find the fungi, belonging to the Fungi kingdom, which perform various important ecological functions for the functioning of the ecosystem, among them, degradation of organic matter, solubilization of phosphorus, that of facilitating bioremediation processes and also establishing symbiotic relationships that benefit both the mangrove ecosystem and the fungi themselves, which makes it interesting to study this association in more depth.
