Under this license, it is allowed to share (copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format) and adapt (remix, transform, and build upon the material), as long as it is done under the terms of attribution (properly giving credit and indicating if changes have been made) and non-commercial (not using the material for profit purposes).

Plagiarism Detection Policy

To detect plagiarism, search engines like Google, Safari, Bing, among others, will be used. In case of self-plagiarism, the author will be notified to address the observation. However, if the author does not respond to the notification from the Editorial Board, the article will be rejected for publication. Likewise, in case of plagiarism being confirmed, the text will be immediately rejected.

To avoid these situations, authors are encouraged to consult resources on publication ethics from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the Ethical Code of Revista Derecho.

Monetary Charges Policy

Revista Derecho is a non-profit academic initiative. Therefore, the Editorial Board does NOT impose any monetary charges, whether for submission fees, editorial procedures, article processing charges (APC), page charges, color charges, publishing, or reading articles.

Self-Archive Policy

Authors may only archive the final version published by Aequus Editorial (Published Version). Archiving the version prior to peer review (Submitted Version) or the version accepted by the editorial team of Revista Derecho (Accepted Version) is not allowed.

Aequus Editorial invites authors to disseminate final articles in open access repositories, whether institutional or non-institutional, websites, and personal networks, as long as they are for non-commercial use (in accordance with the Creative Commons BY-NC 4.0 license).

Furthermore, the Editorial Board will deposit final articles on its official website or in any repository from the University of El Salvador.

Digital Preservation Policy

Revista Derecho acknowledges the importance of digitally preserving its content and ensuring its long-term availability to the academic community and the general public. To this end, a digital preservation policy will be implemented to ensure the ongoing accessibility of its articles.

This journal uses the PKP PN (Public Knowledge Project Preservation Network) system to deposit and archive its content in LOCKSS, thereby ensuring its continuous availability. Information regarding the journal's digital preservation can be accessed in The Keepers Registry, through its e-ISSN record.
