In the article, reference is made to the class, as a form of organization of the teaching-learning process in Higher Education, based on five typologies: conference, seminar, practical class, workshop and experimental work. The external and internal structures of the class and how these are integrated and materialized from the didactic functions are also referred to. Argumentative elements are offered on how to structure classes and, in particular, guides for guiding students' independent work. On the other hand, evaluations are made of the elements that characterize the comprehensive edifying didactic act. Methodological recommendations are offered for the edifying comprehensive conception of the class in Higher Education and finally, dimensions of the edifying comprehensive class are revealed.
