The Heberprot's Application P in the ulcer of the Diabetic Foot

Abstract

With the purpose of knowing the impact of the application of recombinant epidermal growth factor in a formulation called Heberprot-P on diabetic foot ulcer due to the high incidence of these patients dispensed in the Cure Clinic, a descriptive observational investigation was carried out. In 143 patients who attended the Consultation for presenting the diagnosis of Diabetic Foot, belonging to the health area of ​​the “Francisco Caamaño Deño” Polyclinic, municipality of Colombia, Las Tunas from January 2023 to December 2023, the female sex predominated with 79 cases. the age group of 60 and over was the most, overweight and obesity according to the nutritional category of BMI and the risk factors with the highest incidence were a history of ulcers and diabetic neuropathy, followed by anatomical deformities. The response to the therapeutic scheme and the degree of satisfaction with the application of the treatment were 97.9% satisfactory.
