Abstract

The topic under investigation addresses a current problem related to the quality of life of women in the climacteric, where psycho-physiological symptoms and signs appear that impact their health and an increase in chronic non-communicable diseases, in which, Therapeutic physical activity is a fundamental tool to maintain good physical and mental health. Its relevance is a topic addressed by the Scientific Advisory Council of the Inder and Health of the Colombia municipality, with the intention of reducing morbidity and mortality due to conditions that are triggered. Therefore, a theoretical foundation is made that addresses the therapeutic physical activity of women in the climacteric stage and its importance in reducing diseases and thus improving their physical conditions, aesthetic appearance and quality of life.
