El ecumenismo en Romero: camino, consenso y unidad

Nota editorial. El presente artículo aborda la historia del ecumenismo, y el testimonio de la práctica profética de Monseñor Romero en relación con los diferentes grupos religiosos que ejercían su práctica pastoral durante el conflicto armado. Según el autor, el profetismo de Monseñor Romero estuvo permanentemente acompañada de la solidaridad lo cual posibilitó el acercamiento de diferentes líderes religiosos en El Salvador, descubriendo así la comunión en la búsqueda de la paz con justicia.
Editorial note. This article deals with the history of ecumenism, and the testimony of the prophetic practice of Monsignor Romero in relation to the different religious groups that exercised their pastoral practice during the armed conflict. According to the author, Monsignor Romero's prophetism was permanently accompanied by solidarity, which made possible the rapprochement of different religious leaders in El Salvador, thus discovering communion in the search for peace with justice.
