Abstract

San Salvador fué visitado por primera vez el año de 1868 por la fiebre amarilla, la cual, habiendo aparecido en esa época, en la ciudad de San Miguel, vino avanzando lentamente, de población en población, hasta llegar á la capital, de donde prosiguió su marcha invasora hácia la costa y los departamentos occidentales.
