The Academic Vice-Rector of the University of El Salvador, through the University Publishing House, seeks to renew and promote one of the most emblematic projects in its history: the magazine La Universidad, founded in 1875 under the direction of Dr. Esteban Castro. Since then, the magazine has been in charge of disseminating the aesthetic, scientific and cultural discourses produced at our alma mater. With this, the commitment that the University of El Salvador has as a direct participant in the social transformations of the country and its historical reality is reiterated.
