Abstract
En el 177 aniversario de fundación de la Universidad de El Salvador es bueno recapitular sobre la historia de lucha, sacrificio y de aporte académico, científico, cultural y deportivo que nuestra Alma máter ha brindado a la nación salvadoreña, pero en la actual encrucijada histórica, cuando la humanidad está experimentando avances extraordinarios en su desarrollo histórico, es importante examinar los nuevos retos que como Universidad nos plantea la modernidad.
