We start this issue ofthe magazine La Universidad with the traflScriptioll afthe presentation made by the Latinamerican analyst Adalberta Santana at the «xv Jornadas de las Cátedras Martianas» held on November 23 and 24,2017, in the University of El Salvador. This work focuses on two prominent figures of Latin American thought and liberator, Francisco Morazán and José Martí, and also seeks in the ideoiogy of Morazán samples of influence on the thought of the Ctlban hero. Final/y, the transcendence of both heroes is analyzed fo/" the thought of Latin American integration.
