Notes on the Generation Engaged
Keywords:

This manuscript is a manifesto on the definition of the Committed Generation and its literary aesthetics. This promotion of Salvadoran writers was born with the need to unite poetic voices for the benefit of the people, to denounce and criticize the Salvadoran reality. With the aesthetics of the Committed Generation, literature with high social commitment was produced. The text also shows the ideals of this group of writers, the themes they addressed in their work and the social struggle they waged through their pen.
