Memory, childhood and literature in Siglo de o(g)ro by Manlio Argueta
Abstract
This manuscript highlights the literary career of Manlio Argueta and comments on the Siglo de o(g)ro, where the author reflects his childhood and adolescence. This work studies the novelist aspect of the writer, used to denounce the social effervescence of those years, since El Salvador faces a civil war. In this novel, past times are redeemed, the author's category of memory is rescued.
