La fuerza del sino de don Álvaro (cuento)
Abstract
José María Méndez estudio Derecho en la Universidad de El Salvador, fue fiscal de la Asociación General de Estudiantes Universitarios (AGEUS), vicerrector y rector provisional, cargo al que renunción el 26 de octubre de 1970. A continuación se transcribe un cuento que forma parte de su libro Tres mujeres al cuadrado, con el que ganó el Certamen Nacional de Cultura en 1963. También fue ganador de los Juegos Florales de Quezaltenango en 1970, 1974 y 1994, por lo cual fue merecedor del título de «Gran maestre de la narrativa centroamericana”.
Abstract
José María Méndez studied law at the University of El Salvador, was prosecutor of the General Association of University Students (AGEUS), vice provost and interim rector, a position renunción the October 26, 1970. We transcribe a story that is part of his book Tres mujeres al cuadrado, with which he won the National Competition of Culture in 1963. He was also winner of the Floral Games of Quetzaltenango in 1970, 1974 and 1994, for which he was awarded the title of «Grand Master of the Central American narrative.»
