Este artículo no pretende ser un análisis exhaustivo acerca del desarrollo de la disciplina de la historia en la Universidad de El Salvador Se trata, más bien, de una cronología que sirva como base para interpretar las diversas concepciones y usos que la historia ha tenido dentro de nuestra Alma Mater durante su existencia
