Guidelines for authors

Authors submitting articles are required to comply with the following guidelines:
1. Every article submitted must be original and unpublished and not hosted in any type of repository. In addition, it must not be simultaneously submitted to other journals. It is important to note that articles with plagiarism or self-plagiarism will not be accepted. 2. The author must send a summary of his/her curriculum vitae and a sworn letter where he/she grants permission to publish his/her article and thus establishes an agreement for the potential publication of the text, if it passes the filters of the Board and the Editorial Committee. 3. The texts must be submitted in Word format, in its final draft and should not exceed 40 pages. Download the scientific article template here
4. Authors must include the following personal information in their articles: institutional affiliation, position, country, e-mail and a unique and persistent researcher identifier.
5. All authors must have a unique identifier such as ORCID, ScopusID, ResearcherID, among others.
6. All papers must include bibliographical references at the end of the document. The main citation system of "La Universidad" Journal is APA (seventh edition), therefore, it is suggested to adapt the text to this format of citations and references. However, the author is free to present the manuscript in other formats, since the journal is multidisciplinary. The citation systems can be the following:

7. All images, graphs or tables must be cited or have the licenses of use and must be placed in a separate folder with high resolution.
