Systematization of Livestock Practice Experiences of the Sustainable Rural Development career

In the University in the Country Program (UNICAM), extension practices are carried out with the purpose of promoting the exchange of knowledge between the university and the community, as well as addressing specific challenges related to livestock production. The students carried out livestock practices to share knowledge with producers from the surrounding communities, in addition to visualizing problems in the livestock herd, providing solutions to them, taking into account the on-site experience that the producer has. The general objective of the systematization is to document experience on livestock practices of the Sustainable Rural Development degree, of the University in the Field (UNICAM) program, with students from the Empalme Morrito / Morrito campus, with a population of 13 productive units; The instrument that was applied was direct observation, when performing the physical examination, the nutritional status was evaluated, identifying deficiencies of vitamins and minerals, finding a weight between 401 kg to 600 kg, 66%, 22% found less than 400 kg and 12% is between 801 kg and more, however no nutritional deficit was found due to the type of category of livestock.
