Abstract
The University of El Salvador was founded on February 16, 1841, a date coinciding with the declaration of the Salvadoran state. Since its inception, the institution has weathered the country's historical storms, remaining the premier and only public university committed to science and culture. Furthermore, its mission addresses the urgent need to transform Salvadoran society through teaching, research, and social outreach. By integrating these three pillars, the University of El Salvador advances its academic and scientific work, aiming to provide the people with men and women who possess a spirit capable of renewing their reality and a humanistic approach to knowledge.
