Approach of globalization from the perspective of some classical theories of international relations

Globalization is a very complex phenomenon that is present in all spheres of humanity and since the second decade of the 20th century it experienced a process of expansion at exponential rate and is immersed in some way around the world. The classical theories of International Relations, in the search to explain the main phenomena that affect the International System has tried to explain, since the decade of the fifties, the main elements that characterize globalization.
Therefore, this essay deals with the conception that the different classical theories of International Relations have about globalization and provides the essential elements to take into account when preparing research on this phenomenon.
